Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through this website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Production Times
All jewellery is made to order unless otherwise stated. Production and quality assurance typically take up to 5 weeks. All timeframes are estimates.
Due to Christmas and New Years, orders placed after 6 November 2025 will require an additional 2 weeks of production time. Our regular 5-week production timeframe will then resume from 7 January 2026.
Pricing
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are subject to change due to fluctuations in material and production costs.
Shipping
Orders are dispatched once production is complete. Estimated shipping times are provided as a guide only.
Midnight Coast is not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services, including during peak periods such as Christmas and public holidays. Once an order has been handed to the carrier, delivery timeframes are outside our control.
Risk & Loss
All orders are insured. If an item is lost or arrives damaged in transit, Midnight Coast will manage the claim and provide a refund or replacement where appropriate. Claims are subject to the carrier's assessment. Where a claim is denied, a resolution will be determined in accordance with consumer law.
Returns & Refunds
Orders (excluding gift cards) may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. After this period, production begins and the order cannot be cancelled, exchanged, or refunded.
If a fault is present on receipt, please contact us within 7 days so we can assess and resolve it quickly. If a fault develops later, such as a clasp failing or a chain breaking under normal wear, please contact us as soon as you notice it and we will assist you accordingly. Items damaged through wear, misuse, or improper care are not considered faulty.
Warranty
Your piece is made to last a lifetime with proper care. Some wear over time is normal, such as light surface marks and minor scratches.
While there is no warranty on fine jewellery in a traditional sense, you are protected by Australian Consumer Law, which covers genuine manufacturing faults. This protection does not extend to accidental damage, misuse, or general wear and tear.
Product Descriptions
Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, dimensions, materials, and sizing information before purchase. Minor variations may occur due to the nature of jewellery production.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.
Intellectual Property
All designs, images, text, and content on this website are the intellectual property of Midnight Coast and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Midnight Coast is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or purchase of products.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
